ANTIUNIVERSITY: Workshop: Pure Data for beginners with Matthew Olden

Wednesday 13thJune 6pm – 9pm  : FREE

(Only open to participants who attended the Max workshop on Tues 12th)

Although Max software is not free, its sister program Pure Data, works in a similar way. Pure Data is free and runs on many computer platforms including the £30 Raspberry Pi.

In this follow-on workshop, Matthew will demonstrate how your newly found knowledge of Max can be applied to Pure Data to create the same projects.

This workshop will be led by Matthew Olden who is a Bristol based computer artist who makes interesting things by programming his computer. He makes a wide range of computer programmes that make music, do visuals and manipulate data. Matthew then more often than not uses these programmes in live performance. Matthew has been using the Max for almost 20 years. He uses it every day to earn a living, compose, to experiment and to have fun.

Participants will be required to bring their own laptop/computer with the latest version of Pure Data running on it :  click here
