Jim Hobbs presents two 16mm films with live optical sound performance: Nature Morte and Utopia/Dystopia.
Hobbs’ work investigates the personal and social implications of loss, oblivion, history, place and the subsequent acts of remembrance/memorialisation.
Jim Hobbs is Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader of MA Digital Arts at the University of Greenwich and teaches the Expanded Field of Drawing at the Slade School of Fine Art.
