Simone Einfalt is a Visual Artist, Filmmaker and Creative Technology Producer based in Bristol, UK. She creates place-based works and experiences at the intersection of moving image, object and sound art whilst increasingly exploring immersive technology in her practice. Using collaborative research and creation methods, she co-creates with composers, sound artists, performers, writers and fellow visual artists.
Simone is a Resident of the Pervasive Media Studio in Bristol. With this residency, she currently delves into the oral history and archives of local communities around the Strawberry Line, North Somerset, shedding light on how site-specific multimedia experiences can organically blend analogue and digital media + how new media can be employed to create more tangible and engaging community archives.
As Arts + Tech Producer for Knowle West Media Centre, she supports artists, communities and researchers to co-develop socially engaged creative tech projects.
In 2024, Simone has been appointed the new technical lead of Windrose Rural Media, a charity focussing on educational, archival and creative work in rural communities around Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire.
